The Breville BOV800XL The Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ has received as of this writing over 580 reviews from consumers who have purchased and are using this oven. We have one of these and use it outside on the patio during the hot summer months to keep the house from heating up. It does a great job and we have had no problems since the purchase 2 years ago. Another person commented on how energy efficient it is. Another reviewer stated that the oven itself, when compared to the Cuisinart TOB-165 that we have been using (or even the stainless steel TOB-195 model), is like comparing an Apple Mac to a Dell: visually more stylish and appealing, better engineered 'guts', and once operated, functionally very well thought out.

One reviewer thought that the electric cord it comes with was too short. Yet another reviewer commented that it need its own 20amp circuit or it will trip your breaker. Another reviewer stated that their experience with the manufacturers customer service was less than helpful initially, but in the end resolved their issue.
